Registration and Eligibility

Registration takes place online. Registration dates are announced in December or January of each year, with registration beginning in February for the Spring Stroke Clinic and the Team, and in August for the Fall Stroke Clinic.

Swimmers must be 4 years of age and not older than 18 years of age by June 1 of the season in order to be a member of our team.

Our Meets are completely volunteer ran, which means we do need help from all families on our team! During the registration process, you will be asked to sign up for five jobs. While most jobs take place during the swim meets, we also have Special Events (like social activities!) that need volunteers. Check out our Volunteer Job Information page for more information.

Swimmers must be able to swim one length of the pool unassisted to be a member of the team. There is no requirement that swimmers know all strokes.

We accept payment by credit card, Venmo and check. If paying by check, please mail checks to the clubhouse or drop them in the swim team drop box on the Clubhouse wall near the doors facing the pool. Your swimmers will not be able to practice until payment has been received.

Checks are typically deposited on a monthly basis. Please allow up to six weeks for checks to be cashed before contacting us.

Swim Team

Swim team members must be at least 4 years old by June 1st, and be able to swim 25 yards (one length) unassisted. There is no requirement for being able to swim all four strokes.

Not at all! While priority registration is given to Greenbrook residents and returning families, our team is comprised of families throughout the area, and we look forward to you joining us!

Not to worry! While we would love your swimmers to attend every practice and every meet, it is completely optional. We understand summer is a busy time with vacations, camps, Junior Guards, and other activities, and we want your children to explore them all!

If you can't make a meet or a portion of a meet, we ask that you sign out online here before the Tuesday prior to the meet. You are able to sign out of the entire meet, or just the first or second half by letting the coaches know in the comment section.

Absolutely! We have many families who do both, and encourage it. In fact, we offer a special "Junior Guard Practice" during the summer from 7-8 am, so you can make it to Junior Guards on time!

For boys, we recommend wearing all black Jammers (knee length tight suit) for both practice and meets. Board shorts are not recommended as they create excess drag, making it harder to swim and slowing your swimmer down. For girls, we recommend an all black standard racing suit. The suit should not have any frills or other material hanging off of it. Both boys and girls must wear a Gators cap for swim meets; anyone with long hair should wear a cap for practice as well.

Absolutely! All pools we swim in are heated to approximately 81 degrees, which is the standard competition pool temperature.

Summer/Clinic Refund Policy:A full refund for our season will be given through the Friday prior to the first scheduled day of practice. A half refund (50 percent) of the season registration fees will be given through the first week of stroke clinic. There will be no refund of any type given after the first week of stroke clinic has completed..
