Summer Swim Team Program

Swimmers must be 4 years of age and not older than 18 years of age by June 1 in order to be a member of our team. For all new swimmers, your child must be completely water safe and be able to swim one length of the pool independently before joining our team. Swimmers do not have to be a resident of the Greenbrook neighborhood to join the team.

Season: The Gators offer optional Stroke Clinics in Fall, Winter, and Spring. Our regular swim team season runs from April through the end of July.

Practices: The Gators practice five days a week during our season. While we encourage all swimmers to attend daily, it is not required!

Swim Meets: Our competitive season begins with an inner-squad meet followed by three home meets and three away meets. We also have League Relays and League Finals each year!

Volunteer Requirements: Our team cannot be successful without our families! Each family will sign up for jobs during the registration process. Some jobs take place during meets while others during our social events and other activities throughout the year.

Registration: We open registration for the summer swim team in early February each year, for Residents and Non-Residents. Returning families and Greenbrook residents receive priority registration.

The Greenbrook Gators are part of the South Coast Swim Conference (SCSC). There are six teams in our league.
