Clinic Families,

With the latest order from Governor Newsom, it has become clear that there is no safe way to begin Clinic 2 in the coming weeks. Unfortunately, at this point we have no choice but to completely cancel the second clinic. This email has a lot of important information, but please make sure you read the text further down in red!

I know many of you have reached out expressing your hope that we can get the kids back in the water as quickly as possible – we too were hopeful and have waited as long as we can to make this call. I hope we all do our part to continue practicing the recommendations placed upon us so that we can get back to “life as we know it” – and get our kids back to school and sports as quickly as possible!

Please note, as of now the summer swim team has not been impacted. While it is likely there will be a shift in the start date, the League has yet to make a determination. If you are interested in joining the swim team and having your child get some water time and instruction in the coming months, we encourage you to register!

Refunds

Over the next few weeks, we will begin processing full refunds for clinic 2, and prorated refunds for the last four days of clinic 1. Refunds will be provided to the method used during registration (credit card or check). The following outlines the refund amounts:

The above chart shows the refund amount PER CHILD based on your registration. We will email you individually with your total amount refunded once it is calculated.

As you are likely aware, the Greenbrook Gators is a small, community-based non-profit organization. Like many local and small businesses, the Coronavirus is impacting our employees. While the organization is completely volunteer run, our coaching staff are trained, certified, and paid professional coaches. The unfortunate cancellation of these clinics impacts them most of all. If you would like to donate all or a portion of your to-be-refunded amount directly to our head coaches (Coach Alec and Coach Kyle), please contact us directly and let us know. 100% of the amount you select will go directly to them while they remain out of work for the time being.
